If you have what it takes, we want you to join us!</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We currently have a job opening for a <b>Civil Engineering Technologist (NOC: 22300)</b> in our <b>Whitehorse</b> office to join our growing team. You will join a dynamic team of engineers and technologists to provide design and construction inspection for a variety of clients with a focus on roads, site servicing, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and stormwater management projects.</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Creating 2D conceptual drawings.</li><li>Designing infrastructure, and commercial/land development projects with Civil 3D.</li><li>Creating conceptual and preliminary designs.</li><li>Preparing detailed design drawings.</li><li>Supporting with tender documents.</li><li>Supporting with engineering analysis.</li><li>Supporting with technical report submissions.</li><li>Conducting field surveys and data collection.</li><li>Performing construction inspection and assisting with contract administration.</li><li>Coordinating and communicating with multi-discipline project teams.</li></ul><h3>Job Requirements</h3><ul><li>Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution.</li><li>1+ years of relevant experience in civil design.</li><li>Experience in using theodolite and level.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Valid Driver's License (required).</li><li>Experience with construction inspection is an asset.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality.</li><li>Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules.</li></ul><h3>Our Commitment to You</h3><p>At Associated Engineering, we have a diverse workforce and a teamwork philosophy.
