<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Academic Project Initiatives Officer – North to North Program</p><p><b>Academic Project Initiatives Officer – North to North Program</b> – Yukon University, Provost Office, Ayamdigut (Whitehorse)</p><p>Wage: $41.13 to $48.95 hourly • Part time: .75 • Term to May 31, 2026 • Employment Opportunity No.: 25.85 • Closing date: August 3, 2025</p><p>Yukon University is seeking an Academic Project Initiatives Officer for the planning, coordination and implementation of the Global Affairs North-to-North project. This position coordinates with Yukon University’s faculty, staff and students as well as faculty, staff and students in other Canadian Northern post-secondary institutions.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Plan, coordinate and implement the Global Affairs North-to-North project.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Yukon University’s faculty, staff and students, as well as faculty, staff and students in other Canadian Northern post-secondary institutions.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Required: Undergraduate degree.</li>
<li>Experience coordinating various stakeholders and facilitating feedback sessions.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, communications, time management, teamwork, and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Effective proactive problem solving and conflict resolution skills.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills in multicultural/international contexts.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Assets (preferred)</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience working in a post-secondary institution.</li>
<li>Ability to follow and implement academic and exchange policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Experience administering federal government agencies and contribution agreements (e.g., Global Affairs Canada).</li>
<li>Dedication to creating positive student and employee experiences.</li>
</ul>
