We are offering advancements through multiple channels – Contractor/Trade Sales, Distribution, and Head Office Job description: Reporting to the warehouse Manager, the warehouse Lead occupies a critical position enabling the organization to achieve its objectives. Having a background in inventory, warehousing, shipping/receiving, loss management and management, the desired candidate is ambitious, eager for success and results, has inventory and warehousing experience, the ability to maintain and coordinate warehouse daily operations and ultimately demonstrates a passion for the tool industry.

Demonstrating a structured management style, warehouse leads support a team that excels in the execution of all tasks according to the procedures established by the head office. The candidate is responsible of the procedure’s compliance to company standards and the quality of customer service and the customer experience is his first priority. Main responsibilities: Demonstrate daily leadership skills to build and support the Warehouse, receiving/shipping team.

Fill forms and follow company standards to assure procedures conformity in Inventory and warehouse management. (Inter warehouse transfer, packing slips completions, receiving/shipping documents, Tool type reports) Reduce loss in defective warehouse and inventory management. Easy to work with and collaborative with head office and other stores to facilitate efficient communication. Experience Minimum 1 to 2 years warehouse, receiving/shipping management.

Minimum 1 years in the tool industry or other industry related to tooling. Must have the ability to work in an organized manner, have a work ethic where judgment, logical reasoning and initiative are advocated and used daily. Must have inventory and warehouse management knowledge and have the ability to transmit it to his team.

Must be able to adapt to changes, delays and unforeseen events in a positive and professional manner. Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Skills Ability to bring the team together towards a common goal.

High rigor towards inventory/Warehouse management. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent ability to apply and follow work procedures.

Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to achieve one or more objectives in a context of short deadlines.

Training in management or inventory/warehouse management is consider as an asset. Ability to use a forklift. Must have a valid driver’s license.

The ideal candidate has the ability to travel to Canada and the United States for tool industry conventions, for meetings (British Columbia) or otherwise as the role requires. This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, the 5-day work week includes 2 days off per week, Sunday (closed) and one day during the week.
