If you are looking to join an environmentally focused and socially conscious community organization, then we are looking for you</p><p>Conservation Halton is proud to be recognized as one of Hamilton-Niagara's Top Employers and one of Canada's Greenest Employers.</p><p>Department: Recreation Operations</p><p>Type of Contract: Contract, Seasonal</p><p>Work Location: Milton, ON, L9E 0C6</p><p>CH Site: Glen Eden</p><p>Posting Start Date: October 10, 2025</p><p>Posting End Date: October 26, 2025</p><h3>Your Opportunity</h3><br><p>The primary responsibilities of this position include:</p><ul><li>Maintain high quality and safety of Terrain Park features</li><li>Ensure that regular maintenance including raking, shoveling, salting, inspection of all features is completed by staff</li><li>Accountable for completion of daily documentation of feature maintenance and required incident reports by staff</li><li>Interact with visitors to educate and inform them of Terrain Park rules and etiquette, future layout plans, rationale behind layout decisions, and consideration of their input and ideas.</li><li>Execute opening and closing procedures daily</li><li>Record and complete daily safety checks and observations</li><li>Perform regular maintenance of terrain park fences and signage</li><li>Collaborate with the Recreation Operations team to assist with building new features</li><li>Mindful of safety hazards/concerns within the work environment for both staff and members of the public</li><li>Assist customers with inquiries and maintain a safe and attractive visitor environment.</li><li>Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton's Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Your Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Previous experience working in a Terrain Park is an asset</li><li>Experience in a leadership role is an asset</li><li>Strong ski and/or snowboard ability required</li><li>A strong interest in freestyle skiing/snowboarding</li><li>Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills required</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment</li><li>Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on varied terrain.</li><li>Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time</li><li>Freestyle certification with CSIA, CASI, CSF or CFS is an asset</li><li>Risk management experience and first aid experience considered an asset</li><li>CH parks are not accessible by public transit;
