Job Title: Associate, Strategic Relationship Management
Duration: 24 months
Possibility of extension: Yes
Possibility of FTE: Yes
Working Hours: 37.5hrs/wk
Working Location: Toronto – Hybrid (3x per week in office, flexible but team goes in Tues-Thurs)
Must-Have Skills:
• 4-6 years of relevant experience and education (Business/Finance/Stats degree).
• Growing understanding of relationship management and market dynamics.
• Previous banking/FI experience.
• Knowledge of Investment terms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to influence and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making and using insights to guide strategic actions.
• Self-starter and strong time management
• Detail oriented
• Professional and polished demeanor and comfortable with client facing interactions.
• Proficient with Excel and Powerpoint
• Previous experience with document collection and tracking.
• Experience with eVestments database a nice to have
• Project management/coordination experience an asset.
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Strengthens relationships with institutional clients, ensuring business retention and delivering exceptional service.
• Coordinates relationship management activities with internal teams, including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Indigenous Banking, Indigenous Trust, Commercial Banking, and other stakeholders.
• Proactive client engagement to identify and meet client needs.
• Works with senior staff on larger and/or more complex client relationships and issues.
• Conducts independent analysis to resolve strategic issues and provide insights and recommendations based on data and business strategy.
• Develops, maintains, and executes a business plan, including relationship management strategies
