What You will be Doing


The Senior Software Engineer at Mach7 is an individual contributor role, where you will make a significant impact as part of the eUnity Application Team. Activities performed by the Senior Software Engineer include:

  • Design, implement and maintain software features.
  • Contribute to our ongoing testing strategy by developing, maintaining, and enhancing unit, integration and API tests.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to other development team members. Including discussions on architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, maintain quality, and share knowledge across the team.
  • Create and communicate software architecture designs.
  • Evaluate and champion new tooling, architectures, and frameworks.
  • Write impactful documentation, whether to facilitate decision making or for reference/training purposes.

Who You are

You lead by example in your current role. You set the standard by building software that is and continues to be testable, performant, scalable, reliable, and serviceable. You are a respected and trusted member of your team, because you provide constructive code review feedback, and you consistently deliver clean and reliable code. You serve as the go-to person when the right decision is not obvious. You have a track record of delivering complex software features or refactors with minimal guidance.

Your technical background consists of:

  • 8+ years of product-centric software engineering experience.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience developing large scale Web 2.0 applications.
  • Understanding of software architecture patterns and their trade-offs.
  • Experience in developing in HTML, CSS, Dart, JavaScript and Java/J2EE.
  • Understanding of design patterns such as MVC or MVVM
  • Knowledge of at least one of AngularDart, Angular, React or Vue.

What sets you apart?


  • Experience in medical imaging domain, including experience with diagnostic review software, DICOM, HL7, and other related medical imaging standards and protocols.
  • Familiarity with state management techniques in collaborative applications.
  • Experience with responsive design and front-end development for different browsers, operating systems, and platforms, including mobile.
