Pay : CAD $80 /Hour

Overview:
Seeking a Senior QuickSight Developer to join our team in Toronto. This hybrid role is ideal for a data visualization specialist with deep expertise in Amazon QuickSight and Tableau, passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights through compelling dashboards and visual analytics. You will play a key role in designing intuitive data products that empower strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight and Tableau
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful visualizations
- Optimize dashboard performance and ensure scalability for large datasets
- Translate business needs into intuitive, user-friendly data products
- Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for visualization standards
- Contribute to BI best practices and mentor junior team members when needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data visualization and BI development
- Advanced proficiency in Amazon QuickSight and Tableau
- Strong understanding of data products-how they are designed, built, and consumed
- Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries
- Familiarity with AWS ecosystem and data integration concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other BI tools and data visualization frameworks
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms - AWS preferred
