This role is entirely front-end focused, with an emphasis on building performant, intuitive 3D viewer experiences using React, TypeScript, and Three.js. You’ll help shape the future of enterprise PLM workflows by designing dynamic, collaborative interfaces that replace static 2D design tools.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <h3>3D Viewer Development</h3> <ul> <li>Build modular, scalable 3D web applications using React, TypeScript, Three.js, and MobX</li> <li>Implement camera controls, lighting presets, annotations, and snapshot</li> <li>Optimize rendering performance for large assets and complex scenes</li> <li>Design reusable UI components and interaction patterns for 3D environments</li> </ul> <h3>Asset Pipeline Integration</h3> <ul> <li>Ingest and render GLB/GLTF assets with support for PBR textures, material variants, and avatars</li> <li>Use client-side tools like JSZip, FBXLoader, and gltf-transform for asset optimization</li> </ul> <h3>UI/UX Enhancements</h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with design and product teams to improve viewer usability and interactivity</li> <li>Develop configuration layers for colorways, trims, and materials mapped to PLM data</li> <li>Contribute to roadmap features like environment presets, variant-aware commenting, and snapshot templates</li> </ul> <h3>Debugging & Performance</h3> <ul> <li>Use browser-based tools like WebGL Inspector and Spector.js to profile and refine rendering</li> <li>Ensure high responsiveness and visual fidelity across devices and browser</li> </ul> <h3>Experience</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of front-end development with React and TypeScript</li> <li>2+ years building production-grade 3D applications with Three.js</li> <li>Background in gaming, fashion tech, interactive marketing, or 3D startups is a plus</li> </ul> <h3>Technical Skills</h3> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of rendering pipelines, shaders, and custom materials</li> <li>Expertise in GLTF/GLB formats, UV mapping, texture atlases, and PBR workflows</li> <li>Familiarity with authoring tools like Blender, CLO3D, or 3ds Max</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with multi-product 3D configurators</li> <li>Familiarity with WebGPU, WASM, or client-side physics simulations</li> <li>Exposure to avatar APIs (e.g., Alvanon, Scanatic).</li><li>Understanding of PLM systems and data-driven configuration workflow</li> </ul> <p><b>EEO Statement:</b> Centric Software provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to protected veteran status or genetic information.</p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
