Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and results-driven Security Engineer to provide engineering design, planning, estimating, and quality management services for low to medium complexity projects for our client in Burnaby, BC. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Pay Rate : $58.67 / hr. – $71.98 / hr. (based on experience)
- Location : Burnaby, BC
- Shift : Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities :
- Develop safe and effective engineering designs and solutions
- Analyze technical issues and provide recommendations
- Support project planning, cost estimating, and scheduling activities
- Prepare reports and monitor contractor performance and progress
- Conduct site visits to perform quality control and design compliance checks
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex or high-risk tasks
Qualifications :
- Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in security engineering design
- Preferably experienced in Protection & Control (P&C) engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Applied Science
- Registered P.Eng. (or P.Geo.) with EGBC, or eligible for registration
- Experience with CAD software and industry-standard design tools
- Familiarity with digital seal / signature technologies (e.g., Notarius)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
