<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>SaskSoil is a farmer and rancher directed organization dedicated to providing science-based information and resources to improve soil health and agricultural practices in the Province of Saskatchewan.</p><p>This is your opportunity to assist Saskatchewan land managers with gaining the skills they need to integrate cover and intercrops, maintain watershed function, optimize fertilizer inputs, combat soil compaction, sink atmospheric carbon, provide habitat, feed the soil microbial community, conserve wetlands and above all, create abundance and prosperity in Saskatchewan’s working landscape.</p><p>Our organization is experiencing growth! We are excited to announce two new positions, commencing November 1st, 2025. For a highly qualified applicant, there is the possibility to combine the two positions into one, for a competitive professional wage. Such an applicant would hold a PAg and have a natural sciences-based education or equivalent on-farm experience.</p><h3>Executive Director</h3><p>Reporting to the Board of Directors, this position is responsible for:</p><ul><li>Administrative service</li><li>Financial management</li><li>Board oversight</li><li>Internal and external communications</li><li>Managing and maintaining relationships with external partners</li><li>Assisting with planning and executing extension activities</li><li>Identifying and applying for additional funding opportunities for the organization</li></ul><h3>Events and Marketing Coordinator</h3><p>Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for:</p><ul><li>Developing and publishing monthly blog posts and newsletters</li><li>Overseeing Sask Soil’s website and social media presence</li><li>Plan and execute extension activities across the Province</li><li>Plan and execute our annual conference</li></ul><p>Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience.</p><p>We are excited to hear from you!</p><p>Please contact us to receive a detailed description of the job you are interested in, which will function as a formal request for proposal.
