<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>FuzeHR is now hiring temporary millwrights for a 1 – 2 month assignment in beautiful Squamish, BC! Due to the short-term nature of the positions, we are specifically looking for local candidates, no LOA or accommodation available. Work will start early September and will likely run until the end of November, possibly into December. And if you’re great, there is potential for permanent employment with our (very cool, industry-leading) client.</p><p><br /></p><p>The Millwrights will enjoy interesting, lucrative work within a state-of-the-art facility that will be setting standards for plants all over the world – apply today!!</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What are the perks?</strong></p><ul><li>HIGH wages, weekly pay...$50 - 70/hr depending on experience!</li><li>Exciting work, the chance to be part of something new and growing!</li><li>Incredible work location - spectacular scenery, minimal traffic!</li><li>Short term contract – you can be free for a new adventure before the holidays!</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>What are the responsibilities?</strong></p><ul><li>Preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment & systems</li><li>Mechanical process maintenance, upgrades, enhancements</li><li>Collaborate operations and engineering in designing and planning of plant modifications</li><li>Lead mechanical installation of new equipment, participate in commissioning of new equipment</li><li>Participate in maintenance program reviews, updating tasks, schedules, and processes as necessary to best support continuous improvement</li><li>Identify, develop, install, and implement upgrades on existing equipment</li><li>Complete work orders as assigned, maintain detailed notes and records of work completed</li><li>Modification and upgrade of electromechanical systems</li><li>Provide specialist maintenance input to plant design reviews at all lifecycle stages, add technical subject matter expertise as necessary</li><li>Develop, implement and maintain SOPs for mechanical maintenance tasks.</li><li>Mentor junior maintenance staff and other employees to foster a safe workplace and teach best practices associated with mechanical maintenance</li><li>Carry out site tours as required for third party inspections and certifications of equipment as required</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>What are the requirements?</strong></p><ul><li>MUST possess a Red Seal millwright TQ</li><li>Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience</li><li>Strong <span >welding/fabricating</span> skills, pipefitting experience desirable</li><li>Installation and commissioning expertise</li><li>Ability to pass a criminal background check & obtain security clearance (may not be necessary, but employees must be eligible)</li><li>Must live in/around Squamish, or be comfortable with the commute if you’re coming in from North/West Van – no LOA or accommodation support will be provided.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>#BRBC</p></p></p>
