Purchasing Agent - Amico Architectural<br />Would you like to work for a global company that is dedicated to personal career growth? Amico Corporation is a leading manufacturer of Medical Equipment with 9 manufacturing facilities. Our Amico Architectural team is currently looking for a Purchasing Agent to join our growing team.<br /><br />Position Overview:<br />The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. This role will involve key responsibilities of:<br />Prepare and execute RFQs/RFIs, review inventory requirements and issue POs<br />Collaborate with internal departments such as Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and Finance to align purchasing strategies with operational needs<br />Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers<br />Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service<br />Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives<br />Other duties as required<br /><br />Qualifications:<br />Must have demonstrated purchasing experience, managing suppliers, performance and developing long-term relationships<br />Experience in Metal fabrication, surface finishes, and custom manufacturing environment<br />Ability to read and understand CAD drawings<br />Highly organized, creative and self-motivated<br />Excellent verbal and communication skills.<br />Experience with SAP software a plus<br />
