Job Summary

AVS Hospitality is hiring a CMRAO-licensed Property Manager to oversee a 37-unit condominium retail plaza in Brampton. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with experience managing commercial or retail properties and the ability to coordinate contractors, respond to tenant needs, and ensure the smooth operation of a busy retail site.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage day-to-day operations of the retail plaza
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors for waste disposal, landscaping, and parking lot maintenance
  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance issues
  • Serve as the main contact for tenants and respond to inquiries or concerns
  • Maintain compliance with condo bylaws and local regulations
  • Track expenses, service logs, and provide monthly operational reports
  • Assist with budgeting and planning maintenance schedules
  • Respond to emergency issues on-site or coordinate solutions as needed


Qualifications

  • CMRAO General License (required)
  • 3+ years of experience managing commercial or retail properties
  • Strong vendor coordination and site supervision skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with property management software and Microsoft Office
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle (for site visits)


Job Details

  • Hours: 3-10 per week (flexible, with seasonal variation)
  • Start Date: July 1, 2025
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate or monthly retainer (based on experience)
