Project Manager – Hybrid – Contract – Software / Hardware

We are recruiting an excellent Project Manager for our client.

This is hybrid role on contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans outlining scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and schedule tasks, managing dependencies to ensure the project remains on track.

Stakeholder Communication:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Provide consistent updates on project progress, risks, and status to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Risk & Issue Management:

  • Identify risks and potential roadblocks proactively, developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
  • Resolve project issues promptly while keeping the project within established timelines.

Resource Management:

  • Work with internal and external resources to ensure projects are adequately staffed and equipped.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.

IT Projects Expertise:


  • Manage the execution of hardware rollouts, system upgrades, and software development projects in a coordinated manner.
  • Oversee integration between software solutions and hardware infrastructure to optimize system performance.
  • Ensure adherence to IT standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

Budget & Financial Oversight:

  • Develop detailed budgets and track expenditures while maintaining fiscal accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver projects aligned with profit margins and organizational financial goals.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards by working closely with QA teams during testing phases.
  • Conduct post-implementation evaluations to ensure a smooth transition to operational teams.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably with both software development and hardware implementation projects.
  • Track record of successfully delivering medium-to-large scale IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification(s) preferred.
