<p><b>Airswift is seeking a seasoned Procurement & Contracts Specialist to support one of our Energy Clients, on a 1 year contract position in Calgary, AB.</b></p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management within the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in midstream environments.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end procurement activities for capital projects, including pipeline and facility construction.</li><li>Develop, negotiate, and manage complex contracts (EPC, service agreements, material supply, etc.).</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to align procurement strategies with project timelines and budgets.</li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.</li><li>Conduct market analysis and supplier evaluations to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.</li><li>Manage vendor relationships and performance, including dispute resolution and contract enforcement.</li><li>Support risk management initiatives through robust contract terms and supplier vetting.</li><li>Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reporting for audit and project tracking.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>7–10 years of procurement/contracts experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on midstream operations.</li><li>Proven track record supporting capital projects, pipelines, and facilities.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Canadian procurement laws and industry practices.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and contract management tools.</li></ul><p></p>
