Job Title: PLM Technical Architect (#archisoltechnique)

Location: Montreal

An international leader in digital transformation, Techso is a fast-growing company offering consulting services in three niches of expertise: technology infrastructure management (IT), specific application development (DEV), and product lifecycle management (PLM).


Founded in 2014, Techso has built a reputation for the quality of its projects delivered to prestigious customers in various sectors such as automotive, aerospace, events, watchmaking, finance, and many others.

Techso is looking to expand its PLM team. You will work as a PLM Technical Architect to advise, define, and deliver PLM solutions for major projects in Montreal or internationally.

Responsibilities

  1. Determine the architecture of PLM solutions and the inherent security of the project.
  2. Analyze the implementation action plan and suggest improvements.
  3. Create the specifications associated with the implementation action plan (functional specifications, definition of the data model, definition of interfaces with third-party systems).
  4. Define the technical requirements necessary for systems to function properly.
  5. Study and design business processes proposed by users.
  6. Actively participate in the review and approval of deliverables, such as code reviews, test plans, etc.
  7. Contribute to technical support, problem resolution, and system updates, in collaboration with the maintenance and support team.
  8. Manage a technical team and ensure the quality of systems development.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanics, industry, or IT.
  2. At least 10 years’ experience in the world of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  3. Sound knowledge of one or more PLM solutions (3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, etc.).
  4. Sound knowledge of software architecture, implementation, and validation.
  5. Experience facilitating meetings with different groups within the organization to clarify requirements and deployment of selected solutions.
  6. Experience in offshore team management.
  7. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  8. Good communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken, as some of your customers will be French or English-speaking.
