<p>In-House Estimator Position for Reputable Commercial & Industrial Painting Company</p><p>General Overview:</p><p>You are responsible for keeping in good contact with our current and prospective customers. As an estimator, you hold a strong position to influence not only their satisfaction, but the fellow employees you will be working with. This position requires tact and professionalism. </p><p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p><p>General and Administrative:</p><p><br>• Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manuals. </p><p><br>• Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed. </p><p><br>• Communicate effectively with the General Manager, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales objectives and customer objectives are met. </p><p>Customer Service:</p><p><br>• Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner. </p><p><br>• Organize schedule and workflow to meet customer deadlines.</p><p><br>• Prepare estimates for all jobs based on customer specifications and General Manager. </p><p><br>• Price all production work using proven industry standards. Estimate nonstandard work in conjunction with the General Manager. </p><p><br>• Effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company. </p><p><br>• Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills. </p><p><br>• Attend to customer complaints and concerns immediately and facilitate satisfactory resolution. </p><p>Sales and Marketing:</p><p><br>• Support customer sales through service, education, and effective problem solving. Be able to involve appropriate team members as needed. </p><p><br>• Support strategic sales plan and marketing strategies outlined by the General Manager and facilitate joint marketing calls where applicable. Assist in the promotion of cost-effective and customer-oriented solutions. </p><p>Fiscal Responsibility:</p><p><br>• Maintain pricing. </p><p><br>• Develop knowledge of best suppliers and competitive prices and stay abreast of pricing changes. </p><p><br>• Coordinate with management on jobs and maintain company and industry-specific processes. </p><p><br>• Develop knowledge by researching and recommending cost saving potential to management. </p><p>Benefits:</p><p><br>• hour daytime shifts (subject to change as certain jobs require).</p><p><br>• Guaranteed base salary</p><p>Must Have:</p><ul><li>Own vehicle.</li><li>Be physically located in Ontario</li><li>COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL PAINTING EXPERIENCE (5+ years experience preferred)</li><li>Knowledge of cost accounting, methods.</li><li>Experience in sales or customer service. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.</li><li>Excellent math skills. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to deal with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and fellow staff members.</li><li>Ability to understand customer requirements and processes. </li><li>Strong attention to detail, possessing a sales aptitude.</li><li>Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF formats. </li><li>Must be hard working, a self-starter, and a problem solver.</li><li>Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management to perform multiple tasks efficiently.<ul><li>Exceptional phone and customer service skills. </li><li>Positive attitude. </li><li>Can take feedback and continually be looking to improve.</li></ul></li></ul><p>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed and to perform other job-related duties as requested by General Manager.</p>Create Your Resume First
