Job Description <p>Job Description<p>Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob Description<p>We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team, specializing in the assembly of truck-mounted concrete boom pumps. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling the body of trucks, boom attachments, and various components with precision and efficiency. </p><p>Responsibilities<ul><li>Assemble the body of trucks and concrete boom attachments. </li><li>Fit pipes, flanges, tool boxes, steps, and various parts onto the trucks. </li><li>Ensure correct fitting of all parts and run airlines. </li><li>Remove and assemble fuel tanks. </li><li>Use hand tools and power tools to fit different parts into a single product. </li><li>Read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings. </li><li>Measure accurately using a tape measure to the closest 1/16 inch. </li><li>Perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods. </li><li>Maintain tools and ensure a clean shop environment. </li><li>Follow work orders diligently. </li> </ul><br />Essential Skills<ul><li>1+ years of heavy equipment mechanical assembly experience. </li><li>2+ years of mechanical assembly experience. </li><li>Ability to read production schematics. </li><li>Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch. </li><li>Possession of a personal set of tools. </li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs. </li><li>Availability for afternoon shift work. </li> </ul><br />Additional Skills & Qualifications<ul><li>1st year heavy-duty or mechanical fundamentals experience is a plus. </li><li>Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes. </li><li>Assembly experience with concrete pumps. </li><li>Experience in sandblasting, industrial painting, or polishing. </li> </ul><br />Why Work Here? </p><p>Join our team and be part of the fastest-growing truck manufacturer in North America. The facility is clean and spacious, equipped with the largest paint booth in the lower mainland. Work Monday to Friday with available overtime hours. Shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 3:30 pm to 1:30 am.
