Position Purpose:


  • The Manager is responsible for end-to-end accounting and analysis of enterprise occupancy costs.
  • Primary finance contact for global related enterprise occupancy issues and interpretation of their costs.
  • Drives client value by maintaining focus on Enterprise Occupancy business performance drivers and cost effectiveness by providing advice on opportunities to improve performance and emerging risks.
  • Support efforts to ensure continued compliance with accounting policy, while analyzing and communicating impacts to other stakeholders. In order to provide value add incumbent must be a subject matter expert in many aspects of Real Estate
  • Assist the Director to manage, maintain and enhance the chargeout/recovery process of enterprise occupancy costs.
  • Provide proactive advice to senior management on business performance, cost trends, early warnings and savings opportunities.
  • Support the Director in annual planning/forecasting process, and variance analysis of enterprise occupancy costs, including the development and maintenance of qualitative and quantitative performance measures.
  • Manages business change initiatives for enterprise occupancy.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, completeness of financial information including the allocation of enterprise occupancy costs to business platforms.
  • Primary liaison for Platform senior managers for understanding and explaining occupancy charge-outs and costs to various platforms.
  • Manage, maintain and enhance the enterprise occupancy vendor relationship, liaising with the finance component of our service providers.
  • Provide financial subject matter expertise for assessment, analysis, tracking of opportunities and outcomes of real estate projects. Work with partners to ensure real estate projects are reflected appropriately in financials once assets are in use.
  • Support corporate Real Estate technology teams in the development and enhancement of reporting dashboards.
  • Work collaboratively with Financial Control to improve controls surrounding real estate accounting, as well support the implementation of IFRS 16.
  • Perform financial analysis on ad hoc project/requests as assigned.


Must Have:

  • CPA preferable and bachelor’s degree
  • Microsoft suite of products with expertise in Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with real estate accounting
