<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Contract Duration: 24 months</p><p>Pay Rate: $70/hr</p><h3>Scope of Responsibility</h3><ul><li>Accountable for planning of routine maintenance &/or turnaround jobs on assigned units.</li><li>Support maintenance, Turnaround, majors & projects when required.</li><li>Planner reporting to the Maintenance Lead IEA with functional guidance from TA/Majors and responsible for planning all TA instrumentation & electrical scope on assigned areas.</li><li>Duties include, but are not limited to, effectively support development of work scopes including equipment requests and execution methods. Prepares work schedule and cost estimates. Negotiates due dates with customer optimizing work execution considering operations, TA and maintenance priorities. Effectively communicates work plans to contractors, FLS and Technicians.</li><li>Support TA reviews and close-out of related follow-ups.</li><li>Communicate job requirements to the field execution team and support any questions and plan upgrades.</li><li>Performs field supervision to ensure work is executed safely as per plan. Requires capability in procurement of goods and services and contractor management.</li><li>Maintains awareness of job status in the field.</li><li>Has a working knowledge of OI requirements in the areas of responsibility including: OHSA requests, WHMIS, Refinery Standards, planning and scheduling standards.</li><li>Performs contractors pre job meetings, safety inspections.</li></ul><h3>Required Skill, Ability and Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Extensive refinery experience with an interest and aptitude for maintenance work and demonstrated leadership capability.</li><li>Must communicate (written and verbal) well in all situations and express ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively with peers, customers, and others (meetings, shift logs, procedures, radio, and telephone communications, etc.).</li><li>Preference will be given to candidate with previous planner experience ideal 6-10 years.</li><li>Strong ability to read, write engineering drawings, P&ID schematics etc.</li><li>Demonstrates strong ability in SAP use or primavera, or Microsoft project</li><li>Demonstrates initiative and good organization/coordination abilities.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of site managing systems (e.g. LPS, OI, GRS)</li><li>Must be able to effectively use computer system tools and LAN functions</li></ul><h3>Qualifications (continued)</h3><ul><li>Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&ID schematics.</li><li>Experience with SAP, Primavera, or Microsoft Project.</li></ul><h3>Seniority level</h3><ul><li>Mid-Senior level</li></ul><h3>Employment type</h3><ul><li>Contract</li></ul><h3>Job function</h3><ul><li>Manufacturing</li></ul><h3>Industries</h3><ul><li>Natural Gas Distribution</li></ul><p>We’re unable to provide additional benefits or company-specific information in this description.
