Hardware Design Technologist / Engineer
Our client, a world leader in life science and analytical instrumentation, is looking for Hardware Technologist / Engineer with expertise in electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting to join their team in Vaughan on a long-term contract basis.
This role focuses on circuit design, PCB development, and electronics system analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Work with circuit design, diagrams, schematics, and PCB designing to support hardware development.
- Perform visual inspections, electronics measurements, and fault detection in hardware systems.
- Conduct electronics circuit testing, troubleshooting, and component population for hardware validation.
- Upload and configure software to hardware components for system functionality.
- Apply RF theory, electronics device/materials & components knowledge in system optimization.
- Work with electronics networks, computer networking, and signal lines for integrated system design.
Requirements:
- Experience in hardware engineering or electronics technology, with hands-on experience in circuit design and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of electronics measurement tools, fault detection, and PCB development.
- Proficiency in electronics circuit analysis, testing methodologies, and RF principles.
- Experience with software uploading and integration with hardware systems.
- Familiarity with computer networking and electronics communication systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced technical environment.
