Expretio Technologies is an innovative company focused on pricing optimization and transport intelligence. For over two decades, Expretio has been dedicated to developing advanced AI models and software solutions to support transport operators in increasing their revenues while offering competitive services to passengers. Our solutions are tailored for the transport industry and are used by rail and bus operators worldwide.
We are seeking a General Manager to lead Expretio into its next phase of success. Supported by the Modaxo model, the General Manager will build strong customer and partner relationships by understanding and acting on their needs. They will develop a deep knowledge of the competitive environment to help differentiate the company. The ideal candidate is a visionary with a detailed understanding of operations, capable of effective negotiation with government and customer agencies, financial officials, and other executives, while championing Modaxo’s business and legal practices.
The success of the General Manager will be measured by metrics such as Net Revenue growth, bookings, BQR, Core ratios, attrition, working capital ratio, IRR for new initiatives, employee attrition, and customer experience (CX).
Leadership
- Develop and communicate the company’s mission, vision, strategic objectives, policies, and operating plans.
- Drive innovation across processes, R&D, initiatives, and M&A input.
- Oversee annual, quarterly, and monthly P&L forecasts and results.
- Implement continuous improvements to streamline processes, increase productivity, and enhance value.
- Maintain effective communication within the organization.
- Collaborate with HR on recruiting, development, and retention programs.
- Manage sales coverage, compensation, and commission models.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to ensure long-term growth and healthy sales funnels.
Program Management
- Oversee project governance to ensure scope, budget, schedule, and quality adherence.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition processes are followed.
- Escalate problematic projects to upper management as needed.
Customer Care
- Implement and manage long-term customer care programs to reduce attrition.
- Execute effective solution adoption strategies for clients.
- Coordinate customer satisfaction surveys and communication tools.
Research and Development
- Balance investments in R&D and maintenance to maximize growth and retention.
- Ensure clear product plans are developed, executed, and adapted to market needs.
The Person

- Understanding of the global passenger transportation industry, especially in the Americas and Europe.
- Post-secondary education in business administration, engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of management and P&L experience.
- GTM-oriented mindset for growth.
- Strong time management skills.
- Willingness to travel within North America and abroad.
- Located in the US or Canada.
- Fluency in French or Spanish is preferred.
