We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Regional Financial Controller to oversee and

manage the financial operations of our regional business units (North America).

Reporting


directly to the Group CFO, the successful candidate will work closely with local managers and

their finance/administration teams to ensure accurate financial data input and output, maintain

compliance with local legal obligations, and continuously improve financial processes and


reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight & Reporting:

o Ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting to the Group CFO.


o Develop and maintain financial controls across all regional operations.

o Monitor financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities for


improvement.

o Coordinate &oversee audit processes, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

o Manage, support and prepare of annual financial statements and other

statutory reporting requirements.


Collaboration with Local Teams:


o Act as the key liaison between the Group CFO and local managers/finance

teams including local Accounting firms.

o Provide guidance and support to local finance and administration staff to


improve accuracy in financial reporting.

o Ensure alignment between regional financial activities and group-wide


objectives.

o Conduct training for local finance staff to enhance financial reporting and

compliance capabilities.

• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:


o Ensure local adherence to legal and tax obligations.

o Stay updated on financial regulations affecting the region and implement

necessary changes to maintain compliance.


o Oversee audits and ensure adherence to internal and external financial policies.

o Coordinate intercompany reconciliation processes to ensure accurate reporting

and eliminate discrepancies.


Process Improvement & Efficiency:

o Identify and implement best practices for financial reporting and control.

o Develop and refine local processes and policies while ensuring the application


of Group policies and processes.

o Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives where applicable.

• Budgeting & Forecasting:


o Work closely with Group senior management and local managers to ensure

alignment between budgetary goals and business strategies.

o Analyse financial data to provide strategic recommendations to the Group CFO.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a

multinational or regional role.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial regulations, and local tax laws.


• Proven experience in process improvement and financial systems implementation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively

across different teams and cultures.


• Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting software (Quickbooks), and Excel.
