Salary: $91,200 – $136,800 CAD (base salary; variable compensation possible)

Job Description

As Branch Manager, you will provide mentorship, subject‑matter expertise and support to achieve business results while adhering to internal policies, practices, and processes. You will strive for excellence and execute with speed, raising the bar around you.


A Typical Day At Work



  • Mentor the team on advice‑giving strategies to improve overall customer experience and confidence

  • Promote TD's image by participating in community events

  • Enhance customer experience by understanding and providing the right solutions

  • Act as the highest point of escalation, ensuring issues are resolved and reported matters handled appropriately

  • Oversee complex branch administrative duties for mutual funds, real estate secured credit, and other compliance issues

  • Ensure optimal employee scheduling

  • Develop and implement business development strategies within budget and communicate results to the team

  • Maintain transaction accuracy per TD's policies and achieve operational excellence

  • Guide the team on offering One‑TD solutions and building lasting relationships

  • Liaise with Wealth and Business Banking to stay updated with processes, emerging issues, and industry regulations

  • Maintain a positive, customer‑focused work environment that fosters productivity, innovation, and professionalism


Job Requirements



  • Undergraduate degree and/or over five years of relevant experience

  • Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) and IFIC or CSC course

  • Strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, policies and systems to provide tactical direction to senior leadership

  • Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, employees and cross‑functional teams

  • Accurate decision maker with discretion and judgement when working with confidential information
