Dental CAD Technician

Job Description

<p>Hallmark is a Halifax based dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. We are looking to hire a creative and responsible Dental CAD Technician to join our growing team. Your primary responsibilities will include designing high esthetic fixed restorations including implant supported restorations, crowns and veneers.  </p><p> Dental CAD Technician Duties & Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Creating dental orders in 3Shape design software </li><li>Digital model problem solving including file type conversions and occlusion optimization </li><li>Designing single unit crowns as monolithic or with cutback for layering </li><li>Designing veneers </li><li>3D smiles design for "digital wax up" to assist in case presentation and provisionalization </li><li>Designing multi-unit cases on implant level and abutment level records </li><li>Designing cases on natural tooth prep, tibases, and custom abutments  </li><li>Communicating with software technical support for troubleshooting and smooth continuous operation of the CAD software. </li></ul><p>Dental CAD Technician Requirements: </p><ul><li>Dental implant experience is essential </li><li>Dental CAD experience is essential </li><li>3Shape Design experience is preferred; advanced CAD experience in any platform will be considered </li><li>Proficiency in keeping detailed records and meeting deadlines </li><li>Excellent attention to detail </li><li>Technical knowledge of dental procedures and equipment </li><li>Written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p>Benefits  </p><ul><li>Health and dental insurance   </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Paid time off  </li><li>Wellness Program </li><li>Optional pension program   </li><li>Employee assistance program  </li><li>Health and wellness spending account   </li></ul><p>Hallmark has been in the community over 40 years.
