<h3>The Opportunity</h3>
<p>Our client, a boutique law firm, is seeking an accomplished <strong>Corporate Partner</strong> to join their thriving practice in the Greater Toronto Area. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial firm that consistently punches above its weight, servicing sophisticated institutional and private clients across industries. They are fully resourced, collegial, and growing rapidly — making this a compelling platform for a motivated partner to expand their practice.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead and grow the firm’s corporate/commercial practice, with an emphasis on M&A, corporate finance, reorganizations, private equity, and governance.</li>
<li>Manage and service your existing client relationships while integrating into the firm’s client base and referral networks.</li>
<li>Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to mid-level and junior lawyers in the group.</li>
<li>Collaborate with partners across practice areas (litigation, real estate, regulatory, etc.) to deliver full-service solutions to clients.</li>
<li>Contribute to the firm’s business development strategy, branding, and growth initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Licensed to practice law in Ontario with at least 10+ years of corporate/commercial experience at a recognized firm.</li>
<li>Established portable book of business in the range of $350K–$1M+ with demonstrated growth trajectory.</li>
<li>Strong track record advising on sophisticated corporate transactions, including mid-market M&A, financings, restructurings, and shareholder matters.</li>
<li>Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative style, and ability to thrive in a boutique environment with leaner decision-making and greater autonomy.</li>
<li>Leadership qualities with interest in mentoring and contributing to the firm’s culture and long-term vision.</li>
