<h3>Base pay range</h3>
<p>CA$121,800.00/yr - CA$162,400.00/yr</p>
<p><b>Job Title: Corporate | Commercial Litigation Lawyer</b> Our client, a multi-practice, highly-respected Calgary firm, is looking for a 5+ year corporate commercial litigation lawyer for their team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years' experience in a broad range of commercial litigation matters. A book of business is not required.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs and trials</li>
<li>Work as part of a team with all levels of experiences</li>
<li>Routine communications with clients</li>
<li>Cultivate relationships with the firm's existing and future clients</li>
<li>Provide leadership and direction with respect to less experienced attorneys</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>JD from an FLSC approved school</li>
<li>5+ years of experience solid corporate commercial litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition and trial preparation</li>
<li>Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial</li>
<li>Experience with time management systems</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook</li>
<li>Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li>
</ul>
