Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage various tasks will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
  • Assist with product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
  • Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about products and services.
  • Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.
  • Experience in cashiering, retail sales, or grocery store operations is preferred.
  • AVAILABILTY FOR FRIDAY AND WEEKEND IS MUST
  • Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays.
