<h3>Carmeuse Systems - Field Commissioning Specialist</h3><p>Join to apply for the <strong>Carmeuse Systems - Field Commissioning Specialist</strong> role at <strong>Carmeuse Systems</strong>.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Preparing EI&C (Electrical, Instrumentation and Control) documentation such as Control Panel Schematic, Instrument Block Diagram, Single Line Diagram, Logic Diagram, and Control Narrative, ensuring compliance with customer expectations and engineering standards.</li><li>Participating in project team meetings and discussions.</li><li>Collaborating with the project team to plan EI&C and related tasks.</li><li>Working closely with the EI&C Lead and team to complete documentation within timelines.</li><li>Designing project-specific PLC and HMI programming according to standards.</li><li>Reviewing and designing EI&C documentation per customer and internal standards.</li><li>Researching and selecting suitable components for control panel designs.</li><li>Supporting instrumentation selection and configuration.</li><li>Assisting in the preparation of project documents.</li><li>Completing electrical installation, factory acceptance testing, pre-commissioning, and component testing.</li><li>Traveling domestically and internationally for site acceptance testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Leading site coordination and guiding customer personnel to support project completion.</li><li>Preparing technical reports on site activities and troubleshooting.</li><li>Conducting on-site training for operations and maintenance staff.</li><li>Building positive relationships with site personnel.</li><li>Upholding company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including ISO requirements.</li><li>Performing additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Basic Requirements</h3><ul><li>5+ years of related experience.</li><li>Engineering Technician or Technologist qualification in Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics; CET is an asset.</li><li>Strong technical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and passport.</li><li>Multilingual skills are a plus.</li></ul><h3>Knowledge</h3><ul><li>Ability to interpret engineering documentation.</li><li>Proficiency with EI&C design software (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical) and programming software (Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, FactoryTalk View).</li><li>Microsoft Office proficiency.</li><li>Knowledge of Canadian and National Electrical Codes is an asset.</li></ul><h3>Work Environment</h3><ul><li>Typical hours: 37.5 hours/week, with potential additional hours.</li><li>Office and shop settings.</li><li>Hybrid work arrangement.</li><li>Travel up to 50% to project and customer sites.</li></ul><p>If interested, apply today!
