<b>Position Summary</b><br>Kelowna General Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a <b>Casual Cardiology Services Clerk </b>to join their team in Kelowna, BC !<br><br>Hours of work are Days, Evenings.: 06:45 to 14:45, 07:00 to 15:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 15:00 to 20:30<br><br><b>How will we help you grow?</b><br>Join our team as a casual employee, where you’ll enjoy variety, gain valuable experience, and have the chance to grow your career. Plus, we offer competitive wages, shift premiums, employer-paid training, and an Employee & Family Assistance Program to support you every step of the way.<br><br>This position performs a variety of clerical duties related to the work of the Diagnostic Cardiology department, such as:<br>• Patient registration.<br>• Scheduling, booking and communicating appointment information to Diagnostic Cardiology staff, patients, physicians' offices and/or nursing units.<br>• Ensures pertinent forms and documentation are available for cardiac testing.<br>• Reception duties - answering telephones, receiving and relaying messages, receiving and directing visitors, distributes incoming and out-going mail.<br>• Completes a variety of standard forms for registration/billing purposes.<br>• Types a variety of documents – medical reports, memorandums, letters, minutes, education documents, presentations, statistical tables and financial information.<br>• Arranges meetings - books meeting rooms, types and distributes agendas, transcribes minutes and notes of meetings and disseminates.<br><br><b>What should your application include?</b><br>• A 5-minute typing test (45+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted). <a href="#">Click here </a>for testing details.<br>• A Medical Terminology Certificate<br>• Your Resume outlining two year’s recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.<br>• A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).<br><br>Come join our team and see why we’re one of <a href="#">Canada’s Top 100 Employers</a>!
