<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>BDO is looking for an Analyst, Partner Matters to join our Internal Finance department. Reporting to the Manager, Partner Matters, this is a 12 month contract within the Partner Matters team of the Finance department. This role works collaboratively with members of Finance, HR, and Legal departments to provide exceptional service for approximately 500 Partners across the firm. The role will own the following responsibilities:</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain comprehensive information for each Partner in our ERP (Workday)</li><li>Prepare agreements for new Partners and retiring Partners</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams for onboarding of new Partners and transitioning of retiring Partners</li><li>Maintain confidential portals for active and retired Partners; post financial and tax information</li><li>Prepare and organize large volumes of letters and other confidential documents</li><li>Create daily transaction journal entries and perform account reconciliations</li><li>Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly payment requests</li><li>Maintain capital and compensation information</li><li>Prepare confidential correspondence to Partners and their banks regarding financial matters related to their partnership</li><li>Be knowledgeable about Firm policies that affect Partner compensation, draws, capital, and related matters</li><li>Prepare clear information, instructions and forms for Partners to follow regarding processes that affect their partnership</li><li>Collaborate with other members of the Partner Matters team to ensure that all have timely information as required for their roles</li><li>Document processes and find efficiencies to process large volumes of data</li><li>Assist with projects as required</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>2 to 4 years of related experience, preferably in a professional services environment</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including managing large datasets, using PivotTables and look-up formulas</li><li>Experience working with a top tier ERP system; ideally Workday</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Professional presence, good judgment and are diligent with confidential information</li><li>Accountable, responsible and responsive, with strong attention to customer service</li><li>Proven time management, prioritization, and organization skills to complete multiple tasks within firm timelines</li><li>Professional and clear communication style</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, the ability to work in a cross-functional environment and with all levels of management</li><li>Generate creative ideas to improve processes</li><li>Adapt quickly, learn new tasks, and thrive in an environment of growth and change</li><li>University Degree, preferably in a financial discipline</li></ul><h3>Why BDO?</h3><p>Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2025.
