KPMG Corporate Finance Inc. is the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) regulated entity through which KPMG LLP’s investment banking services are provided in Canada. KPMG’s Corporate Finance services include merger and acquisition (M&A) advisory, capital advisory, and strategic advisory services.
We offer independent financial advisory and investment banking services to both private and public companies. Our focus is on providing objective advice to help meet corporate or shareholder objectives. We are one of the largest M&A advisors in Canada, with a global platform of over 2,600 professionals across 160 offices in 86 countries, providing broad reach and capabilities.
Our Toronto-based Corporate Finance team is seeking a professional with the skills and drive to make a difference.
As an Associate Vice-President, Corporate Finance Inc., you will:
- Assist in preparing pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations.
- Develop integrated historical and projected financial models to support decision-making.
- Identify potential acquisition targets, purchasers, and investors.
- Communicate directly with clients, advisors, and transaction counterparties.
- Coordinate and organize due diligence processes.
- Provide market research and analytical information, such as public company pricing multiples and industry data.
Qualifications:
- CPA and/or CFA designation required.
- Post-secondary degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or public accounting.
- Proven project execution skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong finance knowledge, including financial statements, valuation, and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Motivated, adaptable, and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to solve complex problems.
