We are seeking a skilled Appium Mobile Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong experience in automating mobile application tests (iOS and Android) and working in a fast-paced agile environment. In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and implement automated tests using Appium for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
- Perform functional, usability, and performance testing of mobile applications on both iOS and Android devices.
- Test applications on different devices, browsers, screen sizes, and OS versions.
- Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools for mobile app backend services.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects effectively, and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
- Work closely with developers and other QA team members to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure continuous quality improvement.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):
- Overall 5 to 7 years of IT experience focused on QA software testing with strong hands-on experience with automation testing mobile applications.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Appium testing.
- The last 3-5 years should have been in Web and Mobile testing using Selenium Web Driver and Appium.
- Should have experience in mobile testing and setting up automation frameworks for this.
- Design, implement, and deliver scalable, maintainable, configurable and robust test automation frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into test scripts to ensure complete test coverage.
- Should have good knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of mobile browser automation.
- Knowledge of mobile testing using mobile devices.
- Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, JTMF
What will help you stand out (preferred skills):
- ISTQB Mobile Testing Certification
- Experience in the insurance domain is a plus.
