Job Description
Adecco is currently recruiting for an Aircraft Mechanic for a 12-month contract opportunity with our client in Petawawa, ON. The candidate must hold or be eligible for a secret level security clearance. This opportunity is 4 days per week on-site (Monday to Thursday).<br><strong>The Aircraft Mechanic will have the following responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li> Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. <br></li><li> Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. <br></li><li> Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. <br></li><li> Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. <br></li><li> Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). <br></li><li> Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training. Works under general direction. <br></li></ul><strong>The Aircraft Mechanic must meet the following mandatory requirements:</strong><br><ul><li> 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting <br></li></ul><ul><li> 4 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience required, preferred on CH47 platform. <br></li><li> Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data <br></li><li> Must be legally able to work in Canada <br></li><li> Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment <br></li><li> Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods <br></li><li> Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance <br></li><li> Have successfully completed a formal, CH147 type training course related to their aviation specialty taught by an acceptable training organization <br></li></ul> If you are interested in applying to our Aircraft Mechanic position, please submit your resume as soon as possible by clicking on the 'Apply with Adecco' button.<br> CAB7616<br>@@j<br> <br></br><br>
