Job Description

Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to join our client's laboratory team in Ottawa, ON. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who thrives on problem-solving, providing creative service solutions, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Work Location: West Ottawa, ON
Days of Work: Monday - Friday
Hours of Work: 8am - 4pm

Responsibilities:
  • Complete calibration services within expected timeframes, as assigned.
  • Enter data accurately into tracking databases.
  • Prepare and complete calibration data sheets and documentation supporting ISO and customer requirements.
  • Conduct basic calibrations and occasional repairs under supervision.
  • Participate in daily scheduling, visual management, kaizen, and problem-solving activities.
  • Provide limited customer interaction related to calibration and repair inquiries.
  • Perform other laboratory support functions in an efficient and orderly manner.

Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • CGP certification required.
  • Be eligible for or hold a valid Reliability Clearance
  • Experience with general Purpose instruments
  • Experience with physical Dimensional instruments
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Experience in calibration of:
    • Torque
    • Pressure
    • RF
