Job Description
Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to join our client's laboratory team in Ottawa, ON. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who thrives on problem-solving, providing creative service solutions, and ensuring quality standards are met.Work Location: West Ottawa, ON
Days of Work: Monday - Friday
Hours of Work: 8am - 4pm
Responsibilities:
- Complete calibration services within expected timeframes, as assigned.
- Enter data accurately into tracking databases.
- Prepare and complete calibration data sheets and documentation supporting ISO and customer requirements.
- Conduct basic calibrations and occasional repairs under supervision.
- Participate in daily scheduling, visual management, kaizen, and problem-solving activities.
- Provide limited customer interaction related to calibration and repair inquiries.
- Perform other laboratory support functions in an efficient and orderly manner.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- CGP certification required.
- Be eligible for or hold a valid Reliability Clearance
- Experience with general Purpose instruments
- Experience with physical Dimensional instruments
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Experience in calibration of:
- Torque
- Pressure
- RF
- Torque
