The Career Foundation is currently seeking a Packer on behalf of one of our employer partners.
Work Schedule: Afternoon shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday – Thursday; 4pm – 2 am) Job Summary:

Use hand and power tools to cut wood, drill and build crates for our switches and finished products Use manual pump trucks, cranes (overhead / jib) and lift devices as required to move material and finished product(s) Ensure that crates are built, and products are packaged in accordance with quality standards, and to ensure that our product will not be damaged during transport Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices Requirements:
High school diploma Experience working with hand and power tools, including nail and staple guns Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (considered an asset) Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to climb ladders and work on platforms, as required while ensuring that all health and safety practices and policies are adhered to Ability to lift up to 40 lbsSource ⇲
