Full Job Description

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate will fulfill the logistics behind receiving product, picking orders, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and company policy. This is a day shift with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
  • Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
  • Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type
  • Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Pick and prepare all orders for shipment in an accurate & time efficient manner
  • Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
  • Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift)
  • Inspect products for defects and damages
  • Report to management when defective products are discovered
  • Process and document returned goods
  • Cut, spool, test cable and prepare for shipment as per company guidelines
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
  • Monitor warehouse supplies level and submit supply orders when required
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Follow and adhere to all safe work practices
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements

– 6 months warehouse, logistics, retail, or customer service experience

– Experience and proven ability to provide a high level of professional business communication – telephone, email, and in person

– Knowledge and expertise using Order Software – SAP Business One is preferred

– Microsoft Office products

– High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

– Two Years Forklift experience – Re-certification will be provided on site

– Ability to work to meet deadlines and multiple demands
