Warehouse Associate

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, the drive to succeed and the motivation to contribute to the Action Furnace team.

The Warehouse Associate will report directly to the Warehouse Team Lead, and aid in the success of the warehouse.Responsibilities:This position will include, but not be limited to the following:Stocking items within the warehouse in an orderly and accessible fashionReceiving and verifying shipments to packing slipsWarehouse cleanliness and organization.Completing inventory cycle counts.Communicating with the Warehouse team Lead on any discrepancies with orders and with equipment/material that needs to be ordered.Preparing next day’s equipment/material for upcoming jobs.Assisting the Fleet Manager as requested.Perks and benefits to working at Action Furnace:We pay your tuition and manage the enrolment for apprenticeshipsPaid training programHealth and dental benefits, RRSP matching program, and Health Spending Account benefitsCompany supplied iPhoneDispatch from homeQualifications Include:Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with a clean drivers abstract.Criminal background check.Previous shipping, receiving and inventory experience is an asset, though we will train the right person.Demonstrated ability to successfully organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while keeping a strong attention to detail.Forklift experience (will train if needed).Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds.Previous HVAC experience would be helpful but is not required.Ability to use basic computer functions as well as multiple Microsoft Office programs.Basic mechanic knowledge an asset, but not a requirement.Action Furnace is committed to providing an accessible environment for all our employees.
