Production Worker (Temporary to Permanent)

About Our Client

What You Will Be Doing, as a Production Worker:

• Follow a recipe to accurately load powders, resins, solvents, and other materials into mixers
• Operate mixers and mills used to manufacture printing ink following detailed SOP’s
• Effective written and oral communication skills, and basic computer knowledge
• Lifting, loading, and stacking of pails up to 20 kgs onto pallets
• Other duties as required

What You Should Have, as a Production Worker:

• Must be physically fit and able to safely and repeatedly, pull and carry heavy items
• Must be able to work quickly on a consistent basis through-out the shift
• Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance
• Previous manufacturing experience in a similar environment is an asset
• A high school diploma is preferred

In Return, You Will Receive:

• $ 20.50 hour temp to perm, plus applicable shift premiums
• $ 21.50 hour when hired on full time (not guaranteed)
• $ 22.50 hour after 3 months once hired on full time (not guaranteed)
• Paid weekly, every Friday.
• Opportunity for permanent hire
• 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is:

• Monday to Friday
• 3 shift rotation – must rotate
• Days: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Afternoons: 3:00 pm to 11:30pm
• Nights: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am
