Responsibilities
What YOU will be doing as a Medical Office Assistant:

Greeting patients and processing OHIP information
Booking appointments and sending appointment reminders
Answering phone calls from patients and responding to general inquiries
Processing insurance and cash payments
Organizing office supplies and ordering new stock as needed
Filing, photocopying, faxing and maintaining patient records
Learning and using medical administration and scheduling software

Qualifications
What YOU bring to the role of Medical Receptionist and Office Assistant:

1-3 years clerical or administrative experience
Experience in the medical or healthcare space and/or education in medical office administration will be considered a strong asset
Customer service oriented with a strong commitment to patient care
Organized and detail-oriented with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Tech-savvy with ability to learn new software quickly, including healthcare scheduling and other medical administration programs
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Friendly and supportive team member
