POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are currently looking for an assistant cook / dishwasher to be part of our dynamic team! Your contribution will allow us to offer a safe environment and quality of life to residents. Come make a difference in the lives of our seniors and join us!
Permanent part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, variable hours during the day, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays and weekends as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Wash dishes after each meal and store them in appropriate places
Food Services
Assemble plates of food
Be required to participate in the serving of meals and/or light housework when required
Clean kitchen equipment
Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
Peel and cut vegetables for meals
Perform other related duties
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Good team player
Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
