Our mission is to empower children and families through community engagement and professional support, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.</p><p>Summary</p><p>We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Provider to join our team at Eagle Nest Community and Aboriginal Services in Prince George, B.C. In this role, you will create a therapeutic living environment for youth, helping them develop essential life skills while ensuring their safety and well-being.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for residents in a residential setting.</li><li>Assist in the daily living activities of children in care, promoting their independence.</li><li>Support the emotional and developmental needs of children whose families are unavailable.</li><li>Implement therapeutic strategies to foster positive behavior and personal growth.</li><li>Collaborate with other staff members to ensure comprehensive care for each resident.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of daily activities and any incidents that occur.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>1-2 years of post-secondary education in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or related fields.</li><li>Or 2 years experience within this field</li><li>Valid Level 1 First Aid certification is required.</li><li>Food Safe certification is an asset.</li><li>Ability to provide a clean criminal record abstract through the RCMP.</li><li>Experience working with children or youth is preferred.</li></ul><p>If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth and want to be part of a supportive team, we invite you to apply now at Eagle Nest Community and Aboriginal Services</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Additional pay:</p><ul><li>Overtime pay</li></ul><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $28.00 per hour</p><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>BC Driver's License minimum N (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
