We’re hiring a hands-on Working Foreman / Lead Mechanic to support a modern construction equipment rental operation. This role is ideal for a strong troubleshooter who enjoys solving complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues—and leading by example on the shop floor.
Location: Hamilton, ON
$40.00–$45.00/hr (flexible for top talent)
Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (OT after 44 hrs)
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair aerial lifts, forklifts, and construction equipment
- Lead complex breakdowns and “hard-down” repairs
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and electrical diagrams
- Support and mentor technicians while remaining hands-on
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced rental environment
What We’re Looking For
- Senior mechanic or lead technician experience (rental or heavy equipment preferred)
- Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose—not just replace parts
- Positive attitude, team-first mindset, no ego
- Comfortable asking questions and collaborating
