One of our client is looking for a candidate who is able to use hand tools The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced assembly operation completing a number of repetitive tasks The ability to operate hand tools is a definite asset Training is provided Keep work place organized Maintain a clean and organized work area Handle Materials – within the shop and outdoors as required Work effectively and efficiently to complete your work within the job standard Knowledgeable about various tools and equipment, including: jigsaw, drills, chop saw, tape measure, blueprints, etcSkills: Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic Mechanically inclined Perform work safely and follow established work procedures Willing to learn, flexible & reliable Physical effort and dexterity is requiredRequirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in the fitting/welder discipline Experience using power tools or hand tools (drills, squares, measuring tape etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a teamHours per week: Monday to Friday, 40 hoursJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.50 per hourSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate: Newmarket, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience: Welding: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
