<p>BRENDAR Environmental, a leader in the hazardous waste management industry with 30 years of success in servicing a broad range of clients including municipalities, the private sectors, and government institutions in Ontario, is seeking a dedicated <em>Waste Technician (Shipping/Receiving Duties)</em> for our Bracebridge operations.</p><p>Job Description:<br><br>As a <em>Waste Technician (Shipping/Receiving Duties),</em> you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of waste materials and assisting with waste sorting, labeling, and processing. Working as a part of a close-knit operations team, you will play a key role in keeping waste movement accurate, safe, and efficient within our facility and to external partners.</p><p>We are looking for a positive individual with a great work ethic. This Job suits someone who is flexible and enjoys a busy work environment. The majority of your time will be on-site performing Shipper/Receiver duties for a busy waste transfer station in a fast-paced work environment. If you are an individual who takes pride in your work, we look forward to meeting with you.</p><p>Starting Wage: $TBD</p><p>Job Location: 1122 Rosewarne Dr., Bracebridge, ON</p><p>Full time – ALL Relevant Training Provided</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Loading/unloading trucks with forklift</li><li>Weighing materials</li><li>Managing inventories of various materials</li><li>Sorting, identification and labeling of waste materials</li><li>Prepare/review shipping documents</li><li>Assist with household hazardous waste collection events (various sites)</li><li>Assist with processing activities</li><li>Follow all health & safety requirements</li><li>Coordinate loads with management</li><li>Assist with staff training and processing</li><li>Some Saturdays and offsite work required</li><li><em>Please note that the responsibilities listed above are not extensive.
