<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b><strong>Position: Warehouse Worker </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Location: Burnaby BC V5J 5H9</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Client: Tools Manufacturing Industry </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Duration: 2 months contract</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Payrate: $20/hr </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm</strong></b></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Duties:</p><p>Receiving & Inspection:</p><p><br /></p><p>Unpack incoming customer shipments and prepare tools for the next stage in the repair process.</p><p>Accurately, log received items using the SAP system (training provided).</p><p><br /></p><p>Shipping & Fulfillment:</p><p><br /></p><p>Prepare and package outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.</p><p>Complete Hazmat paperwork for applicable shipments (UPS / FedEx / LTL).</p><p><br /></p><p>Inventory & Material Handling:</p><p><br /></p><p>Assist in warehousing and inventory control of spare parts and packaging materials.</p><p>Organize and replenish packaging supplies to ensure availability and accessibility.</p><p><br /></p><p>Workplace Organization & Safety:</p><p><br /></p><p>Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in accordance with 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).</p><p>Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement using LEAN practices.</p><p><br /></p><p>Team Collaboration & Performance:</p><p><br /></p><p>Support team goals by completing tasks efficiently and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).</p><p>Participate in cross-functional tasks and other duties as assigned.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p>Warehouse conditions:</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Temperature control warehouse (heat and air condition)</p><p>•Workshop environment is subject to noise, dust and other particles</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p>Safety Equipment Required:</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Must observe and abide by any and all safety regulations as required by the client and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)</p><p>• Proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials per the client and OSHA policy</p><p>• Must wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety equipment as required when working in the warehouse and/or operating machinery</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p>Physical Requirements:</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Regular heavy lifting of 50 + lbs.</p><p>• Occasional heavy lifting up to 75 lbs. required</p><p>• Warehouse material handling equipment and truck loading / unloading</p><p>• Must be able to tolerate prolonged standing, repetitive bending and reaching, and climbing up and down ladders</p><p><br /></p><p>Skills: Comfortable using computers and software tools</p><p>• Excellent attention to detail</p><p>• Power equipment skills like pallet jack</p><p><br /></p><p>Effective oral communication skills</p><p>• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain self-responsibility</p><p>• Ability to stay committed, maintain integrity, and practice innovation</p><p>• Ability to maintain a high sense of urgency</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></p>Company Description<p>Della Infotech Inc is in the staffing business for 10 years.
