Warehouse Order Picker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Accurately pick orders according to specifications.
• Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and cranes, to move products safely within the warehouse.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Experience

• Previous experience in order picking or warehouse distribution is preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate effectively in a physically demanding role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
