HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a company in Brampton who needs to hire a Warehouse Manager for a straight day shift (8am – 5pm). To be considered, you will need work experience as a Warehouse Manager while working for a company where your company’s products are manufactured internationally, imported to a DC and then shipped to customer who are located in Canada and/or the USA while managing team of 30 people. This role is 100% on site

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


  • At least 5 years of experience working in a warehouse
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Warehouse Manager
  • Experience working for a company where your company’s products are manufactured internationally, imported to a DC and then having the products distributed to your customers across Canada and the USA
  • Experience dealing with the shipping ports (for importing purposes) in the USA and Canada
  • Experience managing a team of 30 people which could include forklift drivers as well as pickers/packers
  • Familiarity with RF Scanners

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that warehouse cycle process flow performs at company standards, Makes improvements to process flow when necessary.
  • Provide direction to supervisor/associates
  • Ensures that training, safety, quality and personnel needs are met in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain continuous cycle count operation to monitor the accuracy and efficiency of inventory record system
  • Monitor the ongoing maintenance and service of all vehicles in the warehouse
  • Interface with necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products and to resolve inventory and customer discrepancies
  • Work closely with the Inventory team and Management to execute inventory operations and requirements
