Shipping/Warehouse Manager
We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as a Shipping/Warehouse Manager. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on operational efficiency and team development across multiple facilities.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Manage and oversee all shipping operations, including inventory, procurement, processing, and packing
- Develop and implement shipping strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and on time
- Supervise and mentor shipping supervisors and staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Monitor and report on shipping KPIs, identifying areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and shipping software
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of horticulture industry practices and regulations
- Spanish as a second language
Location: Burlington/Hamilton, Ontario
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000
