<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Our client in the healthcare supply industry is hiring a Warehouse Associate. This role involves picking, packing, receiving, and shipping medical supplies, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols in a laboratory storage environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on their feet all day, lifting up to 40 lbs, and adapting to a fast-paced setting.</p><ul><li><b><strong>Location & Work Model:</strong></b> Surrey, BC – On-site</li><li><b><strong>Pay Rate:</strong></b> $20.00/h</li><li><b><strong>Schedule/Hours:</strong></b> Monday to Friday, 12pm to 8pm </li><li><b><strong>Contract Duration:</strong></b> 11 weeks with possibility of extension </li></ul><p><b><strong>Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Pick and pack medical supplies according to order specifications</li><li>Receive, check, and store incoming shipments</li><li>Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts</li><li>Operate a pallet jack for moving materials</li><li>Handle occasional materials from a chemical storage area (rare and supervised)</li><li>Follow all health and safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques</li><li>Use a cellular device for communication and task management</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members via phone, email, and text</li><li>Adapt quickly to changes in workflow and priorities</li></ul><p><b><strong>Requirements</strong></b></p><ul><li>Previous experience in picking, packing, receiving, and shipping</li><li>Comfortable using a pallet jack</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for most of the shift</li><li>CSA-approved steel-toe shoes (mandatory)</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Tech-savvy and comfortable with iPhones</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and ask questions to clarify tasks</li><li>Comfortable working in a laboratory storage environment</li><li>Scent-free due to workplace policy</li></ul></p>Company Description<p>Altis Recruitment represents the nation’s top talent for contract, temporary and permanent work within the areas of: Finance and accounting, construction and property management, administration, IT and senior-specialized roles.
